If you’re not from the United States, you likely don’t know how the story usually goes right after a school shooting because your country doesn’t have these same problems. But for us Americans, we’ve had 309 mass shootings so far this year, which is actually the lowest number of mass shootings we’ve had since 2018. For the record, we’ve had over 600 each year in the 2020’s. But sure, keep listening to the people who say we have the greatest country on earth.

Anyway, what happens each and every time is both sides, republicans and democrats will immediately start searching the internet for anything they can find on the shooter. Both sides have a race to find a literal smoking gun to see if they can prove it was the other side’s fault. With everyone pointing fingers and sprinkling in a healthy dose of “thoughts and prayers”, soon, nothing ever gets solved.
That brings us to this shooter in Minnesota. Within hours of the attack, the FBI took down the perpetrator’s YouTube channel because apparently, they reportedly live-streamed the entire thing online. But the other videos on their channel painted a definitive picture of what this person was capable of.
In their videos, they reportedly shared images of all of their weapons and magazines with anti-semetic writing all over them. One message even included a threat to the convicted felon, Donald Trump. All of this is routinely enough for the secret service or the FBI to take the person into custody but for some reason, they reportedly, never questioned them.
Even when the perp reportedly shared images of the floor plan of the church they ended up going to in their video and threatening the audience that this was the location they planned to use those weapons inside of, nothing was done.
For the record, we upload all of our episodes 3 days early because it takes days for the YouTube algorithm to approve our videos for copyright, audiences, and make sure it’s suitable for all advertisers. We can say curse words in our videos all we want to but if we said the “p-double O-p” word, we would get demonetized.
So, the algorithm is strong enough to catch us saying a P word once in a video but somehow didn’t catch someone with guns in their videos, blueprints of a building, and threats saying they were going to that building someday soon. Sorry, I don’t think the algorithm could have missed so many red flags.
But while the world was finding out this was a neo-Nazi with very hateful views of all government employees, one group was diving into a very specific topic, trying desperately to prove the shooter was transgender.
The terrorist group known as Libs of TikTok started saying that the shooter reportedly changed their name to Robin shortly before the incident. But fun fact about that terrorist group, they accept ideas for stories from a news tip email address. So, if anyone were to write them an email, they could legally say that “it’s been reported to us” whatever they wanted. Even if they wanted, they could send themselves an email and say “it’s been reported that the shooter was transgender”.
You should know that by actual news agencies, the shooter was later identified as someone who just legally changed their name but would not have been identified as trans by any rational person because of what they wrote in their manifesto, left behind.
That didn’t stop the terrorist group from blaming all trans people anyway. In the 13 days following the attack, the terrorist group, Libs of TikTok, shared over 353 posts claiming transgender people are to blame for all of the violence in America. For the record, that’s more than 27 posts per day and more than 1 post per hour.
Now, some crazy lady in California saying crazy things to herself is somewhat innocent. But over 10% of the total U.S. population gets their news from Twitter and the terrorist group, Libs of TikTok, has over 4.3 million followers who hang on to her every word as the truth.
That’s not to mention this terrorist group is also good friends with Elon Musk and Donald Trump. So, it came as no surprise when Trump started claiming that transgender people are dangerous. The republicans have been looking for an excuse for decades now to arrest transgender people. A terrorist group claiming trans people are committing all of the mass shootings in the country is an easy answer for them.
But shortly after these 350 Tweets in just 13 days, convicted felon Donald Trump reportedly directed the Department of Justice to restrict the second amendment rights of transgender American citizens to possess firearms. For all the talk of Trump saying he’s not going to take your guns away, Trump literally just told the Justice Department to take our guns away based on someone’s gender alone.
This should frighten every American citizen to their core and frankly, it should demand a response from Congress to impeach him immediately because he just tried to overthrow our Constitution and Bill of Rights for the millionth time.
Even the National Rifle Association, which has financially supported Trump in the past and backed many republicans over the years, said in a statement: “The Second Amendment isn’t up for debate. The NRA supports the Second Amendment rights of all law-abiding Americans to purchase, possess and use firearms. NRA does not, and will not, support any policy proposals that implement sweeping gun bans that arbitrarily strip law-abiding citizens of their Second Amendment rights without due process.”
The Gun Owners of America organization, which is even more far-right than the NRA, said in a statement: “GOA opposes any and all gun bans. Full stop…Gun Owners of America does not compromise with our support for the right of all People to keep and bear arms.”
I’ll admit, I never thought there would be a day the NRA or any right-leaning organization stood up for the rights of transgender people, but I was happily surprised when they did.
You might think the NRA is some big, bad organization. And while they do some shady things on the national level that any reasonable person among us would agree are questionable at best, the local branches of the NRA actually do a lot of great work.
For instance, my local chapter of the NRA offers monthly courses where my entire family got certified on how to safely maintain, hold, and fire our weapons. My entire security team goes to NRA classes all the time to refine their skills, their aim, and their training so they’re more likely to act well under an active threat. We may not like the national group but our local chapter does some great things and offers very affordable pricing.
On a local level, they’re not telling you to have an arsenal of weapons the size of a military base. They’re teaching you how to store, maintain, and hold your weapon so no accidents happen. They’re teaching you how to best use your weapon effectively and what not to do with it. They’re offering suggestions and advice from years of experience. So, they’re not ALL bad.
My point is, the NRA has a point here. If Trump starts taking away guns or any rights from any group of people, there is no stopping him from taking away rights from everyone else too. It makes me wonder why the NRA gave Trump an endorsement in 2024. But I like that they’re putting their foot down before Trump becomes…how did JD Vance put it? Oh, that’s right: “America’s Hitler”.
But sadly, this is just one in a long pattern of shootings that terrorist groups have blamed on transgender people. You might have seen this tweet from one terrorist group claiming it’s an epidemic.
So, let’s go through this list, shall we? We’ve already discussed the Minnesota Church shooter was not trans, according to their manifesto.
The Republican Party Firebombing incident they appear to be referencing here happened in New Mexico and it was committed by a 40-year-old cisgender man. There was an incident where a 19-year-old trans person was accused of throwing a molotov at a Tesla dealership in Kansas but their trial isn’t scheduled until August 2026 so we cannot say they were convicted of it yet. And even still, they didn’t firebomb a republican party building, unless you want to call a Tesla dealership a Republican Party building now.
The Nashville shooting they’re referring to happened in March 2023. Just hours after the attack, a policeman said he believed the suspect was transgender but there was never any confirmation of this by any authorities, by any real news agencies, or any of their family. So, at best, this is questionable.
The Colorado Tesla arsonist was reportedly a transgender woman, according to multiple credible sources, but no one was injured. Frankly, they were just spray painting the word "Nazi" on Tesla signs which, considering their current CEO is probably a Nazi, it could be argued this was just trying to ensure Tesla wasn’t accused of false advertising. They were just trying to help, Elon.
The Colorado Springs shooter was not non-binary. After a man entered Club Q, a gay bar in town and killed 5 people, he was charged with federal hate crime charges. In order to get out of those charges, he claimed in court to be non-binary. So, obviously he could not have committed a hate crime against his own community.
However, there was no evidence of him ever mentioning he was non-binary to anyone before these charges were filed. Even the court saw right through this lie and he later pled guilty to 50 federal hate crime charges.
The shooter in Aberdeen, Maryland was a transgender woman who killed 4 people and seems to have just hated her coworkers in a Rite Aid store.
The Denver school shooter is a misrepresentation of facts. There was actually a group of two friends who committed the act together, not one kid as they wrote in their Tweet. Combined, they only killed one person which means, they would not qualify as mass shooters by the mainstream definition of having 4 total victims.
To be fair, there were 8 other people injured but not by the shooters. See, a security guard working at the school - you know, the “good guy with a gun” - reportedly shot 8 people while trying to take down the two perpetrators. The 17-year-old that Libs of TikTok is referring to here, has pled guilty with a statement saying “I don’t want a lighter sentence.” And they admitted under oath that the only reason they committed the act was because they were bullied relentlessly by that one victim for being transgender.
Oh, and reports have come out that the two perps put down their weapons as soon as the one bully was gone so why did the security guard continue firing indiscriminately into the crowd of students?
So, had groups like Libs of TikTok not riled up their base with more than one Tweet per hour calling for stochastic terrorism against trans people, maybe this incident in Denver would never have happened.
There is currently no indication that the Iowa school shooter was trans or genderfluid by any credible news outlet. This case also involved a perpetrator who seemed to have posted on social media hours before the incident warning people: when, where, and how he would do it.
Finally, a man in Massachusetts did stab 4 girls at a movie theater but the only evidence we can find referencing him as transgender comes from one news article. In that article, they quote a Tweet from another far-right Twitter account similar to Libs of TikTok, where that person claims the man was transgender.
No one else can confirm he was transgender outside of quoting Tweets from random people on right-wing social media sites like Twitter.
So, out of these 9 incidents listed on this terrorist page, 6 of them are not LGBTQ perpetrators. In fact, if you include Club Q in there, in Colorado Springs, there’s more LGBTQ victims listed here than perps.
But only 3 of these incidents were committed by a transgender individual. One of those 3 is someone who said they only did it because they were bullied for being trans.
To recap, out of the 5,226 mass shootings in the United States in the past decade, only 1 of those was committed by a transgender person. This was the incident in Aberdeen, Maryland. The other two incidents on this list are for vandalism at a Tesla dealership where no one was hurt and the third at a school where two friends killed one bully, meaning it would not classify as a mass shooting on this list of five thousand.
This means, only 0.00019% of mass shootings in America are from a transgender person. The other 99.99981% of them are straight, cisgender people. But of course, these terror groups like Libs of TikTok and convicted felons like Donald Trump want to focus on less than 1 percent of the problem instead of the other 99%.
There is one common theme we found in our extensive research for this piece and we’ve actually already told you about it. In most of these cases, even in the 99% of cases, the perpetrator almost always posts on social media hours, days, or even months before an attack: what, when, where, and how they are about to commit a crime.
From the evidence we have found just for this episode, a majority of those 5,226 mass shootings in the past decade have been preventable if only the authorities listened when people warned them about someone posting online.
Experts we reached out to for this piece say that a horrific number of perpetrators are calling out for someone to stop them before they do something terrible. They’re posting as a final plea for help. But we’re too focused on the previous incident less than a day ago and trying to blame the other side at all costs, to notice the next person calling out for us to stop them.
So, thanks to the NRA, trans people will keep their guns for now. But as for my husband and I, who are both proud gun owners ourselves, and as supporters of our local chapter, I encourage all LGBTQ people over the age of 18 in the United States to get a weapon to defend yourselves with.
You never know when our rights might be stripped away from buying one by a fascist dictator. So, it’s best to already have one in your home.
I also encourage you to take a training course from your local chapter of the NRA to learn how to safely store your weapon, clean it, and refine your skills so you too can be prepared for a terrible situation, if it ever occurs.
So, this whole message of trans people being dangerous is completely false. If anything this tweet should be changed to more accurately describe the real threat in America:
Bomb threats made to Boston Children’s Hospital: Libs of TikTok
Bomb threats made to Union Public Schools in Oklahoma: Libs of TikTok
Bomb threats made to Highland Park Schools in Illinois: Libs of TikTok
Bomb threats made to Davis Joint Unified Public Library in California: Libs of TikTok
Bomb threats made to Tigard-Tualatin Schools in Oregon: Libs of TikTok
Bomb threats made to Waukesha Middle School in Wisconsin: Libs of TikTok
Bomb threats made to 21 other schools across the country: Libs of TikTok
Are you starting to see a pattern here? It’s an epidemic!
